Life within Veritas
Laying Faith Foundations
Our spiritual life is not compartmentalized here at Veritas. Faith and learning are woven together. Daily classroom devotions, weekly chapel, Bible and Apologetics classes equip and encourage our students. Families and staff serve together. Our teachers and administration are walking by faith with Jesus in their daily lives.
As students grow, so does their understanding of what it means to be a person of faith. Elementary students learn about the basics of Christianity in Bible class, devotions, history, and literature. They memorize Scripture, and become familiar with the great stories of our faith.
In Middle School, students study Logic, Debate, and Christian Apologetics. Classes in Spiritual Formation and World Religions are also added. Students encounter the arguments against faith that they will hear in high school and college and learn to think through them critically.
Building Community
Veritas is a close-knit community, where deep friendships are formed and kids are kind. Our students enjoy being together. Our middle school students kick-off the year deepening friendships, and diving into their faith on a fun-filled retreat. Families events, like our multi-cultural fair, bring together our community to celebrate our diversity. Fall fest is a beloved annual tradition our students always look forward to. We are always looking for ways to bring together our community.
Raising Servant Leaders
We serve because Jesus first served us. Providing students with opportunities to serve each other, their families, and our community is woven in the fabric of our school.
Our students have been a part of countless service learning projects throughout our history. Most recently we have initiated several new partnerships within our local community.
